Today when we got done at the Doctors to learn that his wrist was hyper extended and not broken (thankfully) they wrapped his wrist with an ace bandage. When asked what the doctor had given him he responded.
The doctuh put a ca-yast on my ha-yand.

Ever since I made this post earlier today my wheels have been turning.
I’ve pretty much settled on going to the Bearpaw Meadow High Sierra Camp. I think this location best for a number of reasons.
For those that don’t like ‘roughing it’ while outside the site offers actual beds, showers, and flush toilets.

We would need confirmation by January 2nd to make sure we could book the cabins. It would be about $110 per person/night. 3 to a cabin. Breakfast and lunch included.
I’ve done the High Sierra trail and the area surrounding this camp. It is mindblowing.

It has been thrown out more than once that a hiking/Backpacking tweet up would be of interest to more than a few of you. I’ll be more than happy to plan one for June or July or August of 2012. I’d figure we could do Kings Canyon, Sequoia, or Yosemite.
